Community Sewing Course
With support from The National Lottery Community Fund, we delivered free sewing sessions for migrant and unpaid carer communities in Edinburgh.
Participants developed sewing, mending, and sustainable textile skills while building confidence, improving wellbeing, and creating meaningful connections in a welcoming community space.
Free tailoring service
We are honored to offer a free tailoring service for individuals facing hardships. Founded by the RBS, our mission is to provide support and dignity through clothing alterations and repairs. Together, let's make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Community group
We are delighted to offer weekly sewing classes to the SCORE Scotland women's group, providing a space for learning, creativity, and community engagement. These classes not only teach valuable sewing skills but also foster a sense of empowerment and connection among participants. Join
Building Skills and Support Through Sewing
With support from One City Trust and in partnership with Shakti Women’s Aid, we delivered a sewing programme for BME women affected by domestic abuse.
Participants developed sewing and mending skills, built confidence, improved wellbeing, and created meaningful connections in a safe and supportive creative environment.
Free mending and alteration workshop
With support from RBS funding, we hosted free mending and alteration sessions, helping community members repair and refresh their clothing with support from our skilled team.
In collaboration with organisations including Salisbury Centre, MECOP, and Saheliya, we created welcoming spaces that promote sustainability, creativity, and care.
Resettlement project
We are proud to host a weekly sewing course in collaboration with Edinburgh Council Resettlement Projects. This initiative serves as a vital meeting point for refugees, offering not only a platform for learning sewing skills but also an opportunity to practice language acquisition in a supportive environment. Together, we're weaving bonds of friendship and empowerment, one stitch at a time.
GreenLight Sustainable Sewing Workshops
With support from GreenLight/ECCAN, we delivered three sustainable sewing workshops for young people aged 14–21 in Edinburgh. Participants developed sewing and repair skills, explored sustainable fashion, and learned how creativity and reuse can help reduce textile waste while building confidence and connections.

PALESTINE medical AID EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP
